Dr. D. Jason Eklund has practiced general dentistry in the Pearl community for more than 25 years. Dr. Eklund is a trusted practitioner who is known by his patients, colleagues and community as a skilled clinician trained in and committed to the fundamentals of oral health care. Dr. Eklund's sound philosophy of practice, dedication to continuing education in all aspects of dentistry along with his and his staff's compassionate care of every patient have proven to be the keys to creating and maintaining such a respected community dental practice.
Dr. Eklund graduated from Brandon Academy and the University of Mississippi before he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 1992. Dr. Eklund is licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners.
Dr. Eklund and his wife, Dr. Neva Penton Eklund, were classmates in dental school and have been married since 1995. They are the proudest parents of their one son, Jason Graham Eklund.
Dr. Eklund spends his time away from his practice watching college football, re-runs of the Andy Griffith show and playing golf. The Eklund family belongs to Northminster Baptist Church in Jackson.
